Nazis are not "right wingers"

from Walter_White on 06/03/2022 01:12 AM

The National Socialist German Workers Party, or Nazi Party for short, is not a "right wing organization" and I am going to explain why.

1. Understanding the Political Scale.
On the political scale there is the left, right, and center. The more left you go, the more authoritarian you become. You can see this with regimes like the USSR, Communist China, and of course, Nazi Germany. The more right you go, the less authoritarian you become. You can see this in the USA, and every other western country.  Being "far right" would make you a libertarian (ew), not a diehard nazi supporter.
2. The founder of fascism was a socialist.
Benito Mussolini, the dictator of The Kingdom of Italy, was a socalist. Mussolini was a socialist polititian and journalist in his early political career, writing for the Avanti! newspaper. He was kicked out of the Italian Socialist party due to his pro-war stance, and later founded the Italian Fascist Party. Italian fascism was rooted with Italian Nationalism, and in National Syndicalism, which is a left-wing ideology.
3. The Nazi Party and Adolf Hitlers rise to power.
The Nazi party, founded in 1919, was a totalitarian and extremist political party. It includes many aspects of fascism, and marxism alike. Adolf Hitler became the head of the Nazi Party in 1925. In the same year, he published a book called "Mein Kampf", where he talks about how aspects of marxism were good.
Adolf Hitler was elected chancellor of Germany in 1933, following victories from the Nazi Party. The Nazi Party was elected as a coalition government. The coalition was between the Nazis and the Conservitives. But these german conservitives had nothing to do with American conservititives. These people were Monarchist, and wished to see the restoration of the German Kaiser. After the elections, Hitler rose to power and purged the government of all opisition, including the conservitives.
Virtually all freedoms were stripped from the german citizen. Freedom of speech, voting rights, and other freedoms were taken away and all critisism against the government would lead the S.S. knocking on your door.

So you see, the Nazi ideology is rooted in Marxism, and in Totalitarianism. It is by no means a "right wing organization". It is an authoritarian left one.
